The Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University is at the forefront of these filmmaking technologies, offering extensive, practical, hands-on, career-oriented education and training. Join us for a screening of short films by CDIABU’s best and brightest followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
Collaborative Screenwriting Panel

Award-winning screenwriters will discuss industry hot topics such as new media solutions for writing and sharing creative work, formatting and form, and benefits and drawbacks of group collaboration. Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear panelists Will Conroy (TRANSSIBERIAN); Amy Fox (HEIGHTS); writer/producer Jean-Paul Ouellette whose credits include THE TERMINATOR; and Elizabeth Stark, founder of the Harvard Free Culture group; discuss personal experiences in the industry and offer tips and suggestions for developing successful screenplays. The panel will be moderated by Jeremy Brothers, a well-known Boston actor and director at Improv Asylum.

A presentation by filmmaker/ writer Greg Pak (director of the indie hit ROBOT STORIES and writer of the popular comic books World War Hulk, The X-Men, and Warbound). Greg will discuss the similarities between the two crafts and show examples of his writing and storyboarding for both mediums. Admission is free.
